[Miyo was lucky enough to end up on the outskirts of the forest when she arrived in Luceti. And to say the absolute least, she was very much not pleased when she realized where she was. Of course, she couldn't remember everything from her previous stay in Luceti, but what she could recall immediately was bad enough. ... But she was too close to where others could see her right about now. As much as she wanted to scream and curse the situation, she really didn't want anyone running over and seeing it. Maybe if she found a place ... yeah, all she needs is her clothes and a place to stay. She'll figure the rest out somehow ...

Anyone who happens to be out and wandering the shopping area this night might see a blond woman in a new feather dress who seems to be in a rush - and very agitated for some reason. If that's not enough to stop you, you're free to stop her.]

[ voice - during the morning of september 7th ]

Ah, hello? [The tone is fairly kindly, but also a bit unsure.] Am I being recorded? This is Takano Miyo, and I've just recently arrived here ...

[ ... ]

Am I using this right, or am I embarrassing myself right now?

[She ends that question with a soft giggle. Really, she does know what she's doing, but ... well, playing dumb sounds fun for the moment for her.]

Miss Takano. Yes, you're using this properly. [He doesn't say who he is or gets into much detail just yet. He was uncertain whether she even remembered being here before.]

Am I? It seems like I'm remembering things right, then!

[A small giggle, then--]

It's been some time, hasn't it? Hmm, likely longer than I remember it being, I'm sure.

[Purposely avoiding using his name there. It's probably pointless at this point, but last she remembers, he wasn't keen on being open about that.]

...Yes. It's been well over a year since you were last here.

[Excuse him as he properly processes what all this means. It has been a very long time, Takano. Long enough that you were the last person he expect to see again, let alone with your memories still intact.]

You've missed quite a bit of things.

[... That's quite a while. She can't even begin to imagine how much she must've missed in that time.]

I see. What would be the best way for me to catch up on things ...? I'd rather not be out of the loop in a place like this.

Hmmm ... I can't really think of a safe spot to talk about these things, honestly. My memory of this place is a little ... lacking, for now.

[She's keeping up a neutral tone, but not being able to remember Luceti clearly is really frustrating her immensely. Especially when she feels there are a large handful of things she SHOULD be remembering.]

...Of course. [He forgot momentarily about her recent arrival. He probably would have suggested his place but...]

Yes, I remember. When should I be there by?

[It wouldn't be open in the morning, would it ...? This was some kind of weird alien world, though, so who knows.]

[Things will be slow at least.]

In an hour. Is that all right?

It's open this early? What a strange little town this is ... [ ... ] An hour is fine.

The bar may be closed right now, but it functions as a restaurant as well. [Probably won't be too noisy either] I will see you then.

[And time skip later, because Alexei needed to get some information together and finish what errands he was doing before they could meet. He'll be waiting for her inside the restaurant]

[Exactly an hour later, Takano will be entering the restaurant, keeping a look out for Alexei. She barely remembers details about him aside from colors to look for and his name, but given how slow things are right now ... not exactly tough to find him.

When she does spot him, she'll smile and walk over.]

Hello! Did I keep you waiting? [She giggles lightly to herself at that. Mostly because she knows she's right on time. ~~and because she could care less if she kept him waiting so w/e w/e!!!!~~]

[~~Wow, rude. I'm not telling you anything now~~.

Alexei notices Takano as she was walking towards him. It still felt kind of surreal to be seeing her again.]

Not for very long, no. [He gestures to the seat opposite of him.] There's been a few interesting developments since you left. Were you familiar with the private network the community had set up?

[She goes right ahead and takes said seat gestured toward.]

... I believe so. I do remember something about a more secure way to discuss certain topics, at least.

You might want to take a look at some of the new information on there when you have the chance. You've missed Luceti playing host to another enclosure that became a casualty to the war between the Malnosso and the Third Party.

It's awful, really. Do you even have any idea? [Giggle]

Ah, is it really wrong? I'm sure you can forgive a new arrival for making small mistakes though, right? [giggle giggle]

Hm, that might be difficult to do. I'm sorry, but that sort of thing simply isn't tolerated here.

Luceti's certainly gotten strict since my last stay here ... I thought it was a more forgiving place than this! Well then, I apologize for my terrible self-introduction.

If you've been here before, then you really should have expected it - your memory must be entirely off.

Most likely of last year, then. That is quite a while. I wonder how much has changed since then? I hope you might have a friend or two remaining.

It seems a little wrong to hope so, but it would be nice to see some familiar faces! Even just one would be nice.

[She laughs] Or is it more so satisfying, in that case?

[Not wandering as much as testing something, Haruhi is here out after dark. She's testing one of her spells - a sigil to make things light up. She could do it inside somewhere, sure, but she wanted to be near enough to the library to check a few books. So as Takano is making her dash, Haruhi is actually drawing a symbol with chalk onto the cobblestone a bit off from the mural around the fountain. She's adjusting it here and there, comparing by the light of a fireball orbiting her head with a sheet of paper in her hands, muttering the whole time]

[Takano's rather annoyed right now, but what Haruhi is doing is so weird that she can't help but stop and stare at it for a moment.

Ugh, she doesn't want to talk to anyone, but this just looked strange. Maybe she should speak up to make sure Luceti didn't get overrun by cults that summon demons or whatever.

So, she'll step up nearby, plastering on a fake smile and a false, curious tone.]

Hello ...? Excuse me, what are you doing?

I'm working on a sigil. [She doesn't even look up from it. She mutters to herself to make the fire ball orbiting her head a bit brighter and then nods to herself before adding a new line in the middle of the magic circle there]

A sigil ...?

[ ... ]

Are you trying to summon a devil then? So late at night, too .. How scary! [giggle giggle]

I wish. Long suffering sigh... that would be so much cooler than this, honestly]

[ .. That name.. 'Takano Miyo'.. it sounds familiar, and there's a brief moment where she wonders just why it does, she needs to dig in her memory quite a bit - but she does remember after a minute or so. Keiichi was the one who had mentioned it, right? For him, back home, the one ending everything--

Surprise and curiosity win over everything, even over telling or asking Keiichi about this first. So she just speaks up, even if her deadpan is a little more forced than usually - slightly tense. ]

[Takano pauses for a quick moment. ... Hmm, that's not a voice she recognizes. Maybe it was just another teasing type or a bored person, rather than someone who knew her.

So, she just carries on and replies with a somewhat cheery tone.]

Both? Is introducing yourself like this supposed to be an embarrassing thing here ...?

Not particularly, but when you're saying 'am I embarassing myself here' you're practically just asking for it, aren't you?

[ She manages to keep her tone even. She's just making casual conversation to try and find out some more, it's not like Keiichi ever told her much, after all. ]

Hmm ... Maybe so. I guess I should watch my wording a little more closely while using this book ... I wouldn't want to walk into the same wall twice! [She giggles lightly to herself.]

.. Well, I guess if nobody has laughed at you for doing it so far, you're still in the clear. Unless someone decides to pop up after me to laugh at you for it, that is, I can't guarantee anything.

Then I'll have to hope no one would be so cruel or bored as to laugh at a confused newcomer.

If you seriously believe that about the world, then you're pretty naive. Lots of people would do it, no matter the place.

I would have to be, if I were talking about my own world. This one, though ... [She giggles a little before continuing.] Isn't it populated by heroes and other such people who'd bend over backwards to help anyone who asks?

... Who knows, there's a lot of different kinds of people here. [ although it makes her wonder-- ] Did you meet that many of those types here already then?

Hmm ... I think I remember hearing a lot of people like that in this book a long time ago! I never spoke to them, but I certainly do know about them.

Huh..? What's that supposed to mean? There's no way you can know about them without actually having spoken to them, right? Especially if you only just arrived here.

I have only just arrived! The difference is, this isn't my first time arriving here. Is there a silly term for that here, too? "Returning Feather", maybe?

I don't know if there's a term for it, honestly. [ because obviously ange isn't too big on giving them cutesy nicknames or whatever either.. ]

But yeah, it does happen. I've seen plenty of people disappearing and coming back later on.
